While I appreciate that some commentators raise the subject of human sacrifice
intending to attack traditional African religion (TAR), it is a mistake in my
opinion for those who would defend it, to respond with indignation or to
proffer defenses which do not bear scrutiny. If you stand on anything other
than Truth, you stand on shaky ground. IMO, an honest and unflinching look at
TAR reveals a practice that is coherent, consistent, and wholesome. Which is
not to say that it isn't burdened by people whose only interest is sorcery.
