The Ifa corpus hasn't changed from pre-colonial times to the present. And iwa
pele is not a post-Christian invention. Everything else, from post-colonial
Yoruba script to this discussion taking place on the internet, is just outer
trappings, ultimately not what the religion is about.
If there is a larger point that you seek to make with all this, have the
courage of your convictions and say, plainly, what it is.
