You got my point!!
I was starting to wonder whether anybody was "getting it",
judging from David's reply, which resolutely refuses to
grapple with core issues. I do not have the time, point
by point, to reply to David's blizzard of red herrings.
So I'll let this brief response serve, by indirection,
to respond also to David, at least for the time being.
There is a mountain of misconceptions under which he is
laboring, and since the misconceptions are widespread
among Blackfolk, I think it is important to address
them, but I'm too busy right now. I'll say only,
following Cress-Welsing, that those subject to white
supremacy lose the ability to think straight: we keep
coming up against this monster that is
so frightening that, rather than take in and process that
reality, we deny it, and succumb to the trap of circular
thinking. The terrified mind refuses to make certain
clear, logical, but horrifying conclusions, especially when
the source of the terror leaves what appears to be a safe,
comfortable alternative, namely of accommodation, even of
assimilation (also of salvation if but you would bow to
a--fraudulently depicted--white god). I have in the
past called this a form of Acquired Idiocy Disease (Stockholm
Syndrome), or AIDss, with tongue only partially in cheek.
For it is in fact the case that the Black community suffers
a form of cultural AIDS, which in fact is caused by
racism (white supremacy), which in fact may be traced
to a peculiar, European, cultural asili.
The biggest mistake in attempting to deconstruct the behavior
of the European is to take the European's worldview as
being somehow a universal. This is what we get from
David, also from Wayne, trapped as they are by the
European asili which works like an AIDS pathogen within
their spirit. I'll get back to David, not because
I think he'll get the point, or acknowledge it if he
does, but because others following the discussion
may find it of some benefit.
But for now, I have to run.

PS. Thanks for the high compliment, but the ideas are not
(that) original, and I give thanks to Marimba Ani, Cress-Welsing,
Diop, Asante, and a host of other African-Centered writers
who have cleared away the Euro-asilic cobwebs from my
brain.
